INCLUDED FEATURES
ROUND-TRIP AIR TRANSPORTATION from Chicago or Detroit on regularly scheduled airlines. Air and Land inclusive price includes a bus transfer from NHS to the airport. Passengers on the Adult Bus will have a different air schedule than the students and may fly from Grand Rapids (in which case no U.S. airport transfer will be provided for the Adult Bus). Air schedules will be available approximately five months prior to departure.
Note: All students are expected to travel on the group flights. Requests to book air separately will be subject to approval by the band director/ group leader. Please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions, “Is it possible to Extend the Stay or book Tour Only” section for additional details. Tour Only pricing will be: Adult Bus – $4,799 / Student Bus – $4,299.
LAND TRANSPORTATION in Europe in accordance with the itinerary, including transfers and sightseeing from the time of arrival on Day 2 to the time of departure on Day 15, by deluxe air-conditioned motor coach.
ACCOMMODATIONS for students will be provided in tourist-class
(2-star) hotels or hostels (similar to student dormitories) on the basis of up to 10 students sharing a room. Accommodations for the Adult Bus will be at superior-tourist (3-star) and/or first-class (4-star) hotels with the price based on two persons sharing a room. The participants on the Adult Bus will usually overnight in different hotels, often located in different nearby towns, than the participants on the Student Buses.
MEALS: All breakfasts, two lunches and all but two dinners while in Europe are included. Additional meals may be provided during flights. Dinners in Salzburg, Austria and Nancy, France are independent, as well as all lunches (except in Berchtesgaden and Stans – where lunch is included)
