Creation Competition

Submit your original LEGO® creation (MOC) in this contest (maximum size: 24"x24"). Judges will choose the top entries in each age group and the public votes for People's Choice Awards. See our event guidelines for important rules and details regarding where and when to drop off these MOCs. Registered competitors get free admission to the event. Register and pay $5 entry fee by February 23rd.
Need a little inspiration to spark an idea for your build? Consider building something using this year's theme, taken from our 2024 Marching Band season: The Next Chapter. Builders can earn an extra point from each Creation Competition judge if they include this theme. Interpretation of the theme will vary, and may include (but are not limited to): books, stories, scenes from a book/story, phases of growing up, the next chapter in life, etc.
Speed Building Competition

How fast can you assemble a brand new LEGO® set?  The top 3 fastest builders in each age group receive a medal.  Space is limited - first come, first served.  Entry fee is $25 and you keep the LEGO® set! Want to show off your favorite LEGO® sets?  Bring something from your collection for everyone to admire!  Can include official LEGO® kits (Marvel, Minecraft, Ninjago, Star Wars, Friends, etc.)  Anything goes!  Register in advance to reserve your free spot.

New! Virtual Builders: Minecraft Edition

Build a virtual creation using Minecraft (creative mode). Builders compete against their peers using our state of the art e-sports gaming computers in the media center. Participants will be judged using the same rubric as the Creation Competition and one winner from each age group will win a prize. Bonus points if builders use this year's theme: The Next Chapter. See competition guidelines for important details.
Entry fee: $10. Must register by February 23rd. No walk-ins.
Heat 1: Ages 8-12, 2:30-3:15pm
Heat 2: Ages 13-Adult, 3:30-4:15pm​
